SCENIC BALLOON FLIGHT

Begin your journey before sunrise as the balloons come to life against the African landscape. As the sun rises, gently lift into the sky for a peaceful flight over the Cradle of Humankind or Magaliesberg.

Drift above sweeping valleys and open countryside with panoramic views in every direction, and the chance to spot wildlife below.

After landing, celebrate with sparkling wine and enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast - a memorable finish to an unforgettable morning in the sky.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your morning begins before sunrise with tea and coffee as the balloon is prepared for flight. Once ready, your pilot will give a short safety briefing before takeoff.

You’ll then float gently above the landscape, enjoying a quiet, stable flight and wide-open views of the Cradle of Humankind or Magaliesberg.

After landing, toast the experience with sparkling wine or orange juice before a buffet breakfast at the lodge. Each guest also receives a personalised flight certificate.

Duration: Entire experience approx. 3 - 4hrs

Departure Times: Flights depart at sunrise.

Dress: Dress comfortably for the weather, including long pants, closed comfortable shoes, and a jacket for cooler mornings.

Fitness Level: Guests with any medical conditions must advise us at the time of booking. Passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight and independently enter and exit the basket. For safety reasons, pregnant passengers are not permitted to fly.

Pack: Camera or phone for all those once-in-a-lifetime shots. Binoculars to take in the views from above. Sunscreen for sun protection. A hat for comfort in the sky.
