Hot Air Balloon Flights

Hello world!

Sun Fun Africa Safari’s – the worlds oldest form of flight known to man.  It is almost like floating on a cload and looking back at the earth as few has ever experienced.

We are so fortunate to experience engagements, anniversaries and birthdays with passengers who enjoy taking the courage to defy the laws of gravity – and with loads of fun.

Join Sun Fun Africa Balloon Safari’s for an unforgettable balloon flight in the Pilanesberg National Park. The park comprises 50 000 hectares and is situated in the North West province, 30 kilometres from Rustenburg near the well known Sun City resort.

There is an abundance of wild life, including lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo (the “big five”).Your pilot, also trained in game ranging will endeavour to make your experience one of the finest in viewing wildlife.

Being one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind, its rare rock types and structure make it a unique geological feature, exquisite to see from the balloon.

Whether you will be staying at Sun City or any other lodge in the Pilanesberg, you will be collected from your venue and driven on a game drive vehicle to the launch site which is situated next to a large lake in the centre of the park, the Mankwe Dam. If however you are not staying over we will meet you at the entrance gate to the park.

The hot air balloon flight is approximately 1 hour after which you will be served with sparkling wine and orange juice upon landing. A game drive back to Bakubung Lodge for a five star breakfast will conclude the experience. During breakfast you will be presented with a personalised certificate to celebrate your unique hot air balloon experience. After breakfast you can spend the rest of your day enjoying the various other activities offered by Gametrackers or simply take your chances at the Sun City Casino.
