The sun slowly appeared in the mist’s background while our guests got ready for their long awaited flight. After the flight briefing from our pilot, some giggles from our passengers when they were ducking in the basket and the heat turned on to full blast AWAY THEY WENT!
All enjoyed the serenity and beautiful surroundings of the Magalies river valley while Pierre quietly “popped the question” to which an emotional Andonette replied “YES”

Congratulations to Nell and Danette on their engagement! May blessings and good times fill your lives and may you enjoy your happily ever after!

Armandt & Amy, thank you for braving the early morning hours and chilly Magaliesburg for the second time! Atleast mother nature behaved herself this time!

Zelda treated hubby Ivan… lucky hubby!! (P.S Ivan you do realize that you owe Zelda a big present now???)

Beautiful things happen when you least expect them… you meet people who change your life… you see the wonders of this earth and realize how small you really are… you see the Sun peek over the mountains and it reminds you that every dark night ends with a stunning sunrise…

Good day all!!
We had our FIRST flight at the Askari Game Lodge and we will be doing many more there in the future.
We were joined on this exciting flight by Johan Delport and his colleagues from Lafarge cement. Thank you gentleman for filling this particular morning with a lot of fun and laughter.

Our group had the opportunity to view several game species from the hot air balloons, as Askari Game Lodge is situated on the Plumari game reserve. The reserve boasts with a wide range of different animal species including the famous Big 5.

All our group members enjoyed game drives, elephant interactions and relaxed in the beautiful cottages which played home for their weekend stay.

Hot air balloon flights are not just for those who need a romantic getaway but can easily be incorporated into team-buildings, year-end functions and fun days.
What makes this an experience of a lifetime?
Well, simply put… you will never again experience a sunrise of this beauty, the early morning fresh air cleaning out your lungs, the opportunity to view the unique topography of the Magaliesburg region and the great relaxation that this flight offers you ever again.

Good morning Sunnies!!
On 22 October 2010 we had the team from FNB join us on our flight. Julia and company enjoyed the beautiful sunrise from a bird’s eyeview while their balloons danced through the winds. The flight was shorter than expected but in the end everyone was smiling and sipping sparkling wine.

Our flight lasted about 50minutes as the winds picked up during the morning.
There is no better way to end off the last year of hard work than going on a hot air balloon flight. Hot air balloon flights are a combination of adventure, romance, excitement, celebration and relaxation.
Life is short… learn it, live it, love it!
